Once again this year Blissfield Chamber's merchant and corporate-member sponsors have come together to offer our community and visitors alike, the most exciting kick-off to the Christmas holiday season ever... Yuletide 2004!

Santa Parade

Friday evening, November 12, the DDA-sponsored parade brings Santa to town and we officially light the community Christmas tree located in Bachmayer Parking Lot. The parade begins from the Blissfield State Bank parking lot at 7:00 PM and is open to all. It promises to be a real family-oriented event. Bring your kids or grandkids and march with Saint Nick! This year some of Santa's reindeer will be there to march with you!

One big weekend this year!

The Blissfield Yuletide 2004 takes place Friday, November 12 through Sunday, November 14. Participating stores will be open Friday and Saturday, 10 am - 7 pm and Sunday, Noon - 6 pm.

Santa Claus to visit Yuletide 2004!

We have heard from reliable sources that on Saturday, November 13 and Sunday, November 14, Ol' Saint Nick will be in Blissfield. Look for him at participating merchants.

The Decoration Committee has great plans to once again decorate the village. Each year Blissfield is beautifully adorned, adding to the excitement and festivity of the season.
The annual Yuletide Craft Show takes place at Blissfield Elementary School on Saturday, November 13. The doors are open from 9 AM to 4 PM. Call Peggy Saxton, 517-486-4147, for details or for a booth.
The all-volunteer, Raisin Valley Model Railroad Club, proudly opens their door and presents their impressive layout on Saturday and Sunday, November 13 and 14. Don't miss this chance to see their terrific display. This all-volunteer organization relies on donations to keep its door open and to improve its presentation. Please help them out.

The excitement of the season continues the evening of December 11^th, with the extremely popular, Blissfield Chamber's, Parade of Lights. Once again we expect every type of entrant… from light-decorated combines and fire trucks to twirlers with glowing-batons. There is great interest in this event from both potential entrants and anxious parade watchers. If you, your company, your church or organization wish to enter the parade, call the Chamber, 486-3642 for an entry form or simply click on the link above. There you find an online entry form that can be submitted to the committee right from your computer. Join the fun. Enter today!

Yuletide 2004 Drawings -- more than $1,500 awarded!
	Over $1,500 in prizes will be awarded at the Chamber's Yuletide 2004 drawing that precedes our annual Parade of Lights. Yuletide customers receive a chance to win each time they make a purchase at participating merchants. Prizes include $300 in Chamber Checks for First Place, $200 in Chamber Checks for Second Place; $100 in Chamber Checks for Third Place. $150 in Chamber Checks will also be awarded to some who is present at the drawing! Each participating merchant will give away $25 in Chamber Checks to lucky ticket holders!
	This year the Chamber is sponsoring a "YULETIDE WREATH RAFFLE!" Chamber members and Yuletide participants will donate holiday wreaths to be displayed at the Chamber's Depot at the Historical Depot Museum and raffled off at the Yuletide Drawing. Get your tickets at the Depot!
	The drawing for all the prizes takes place at 6:00 PM, December 11, in downtown Blissfield, just before the fantastic Parade of Lights. While most winners need not be present to win, some lucky people present at the drawing will win special prizes, just because they are there!
	WIN A $2,000 VACATION! Tickets are now being sold for the Chamber's... "2004 Cruise/Vacation Raffle" Purchase a $10 raffle ticket from any Chamber member and have a chance to win a travel voucher worth $2,000.
