The NBC Special on Pro Wrestling.

You know by now that NBC did a special on "exposing" Pro Wrestling. Instead of focusing on the lameness of the show, and the jebrones who were "in disguise", i'll tell you my outlook on this. SO WHAT if I believe in the realism of wrestling? Is it the job of NBC to come along and tell me that their "wrestlers" are going to tell us why it's fake? The reason that wrestling is so mega popular is because it combines fantasy and reality. And we all know that when something becomes too popular, someone tries to tear it down. The bottom line is that NBC knows that if they can sway people from wrestling, they can build ratings. To all the networks who don't believe in wrestling, "SUCK IT!".

Why the WCW is #2 and ECW:Harcore, but fan friendly

Listen up nWo-ites, i'ts been a while since the last column, but it's quality not quantity here. Ok, the WWF is #1 right now and it's easy to see why.But let's look at when/where they took the lead.NITRO was killin' RAW until (as I predicted) the NBA Playoffs on TNT caused Nitro to be on at 2 am, or to be 1 hour broadcasts. What did the WCW fans do? Simple: The WCW fans (myself included) wanted to see wrestling and NOT basketball !!! So we all flipped channels to USA and watched RAW. Not so bad, right? WRONG!!! The playoffs got the WCW fans involved in WWF angles. All the WCW fans kept tuning in to see what would happen next on RAW. So WCW had to think of a new plan to get their fans back. Hey, how about the Wolfpac? You take the nWo, break it into 2 factions, put the "face" wrestlers on one side, and you put the "heel" wrestlers on the other.Better yet, you break up Hall and Nash, confuse the hell out of the fans, and have Goldberg win the title.How could WCW have possibly gone wrong? Oh yeah, don't forget the ever important "NWO Night Cap" show and useless angles using Malone,Leno, and Kevin Greene. WCW is not in the driver's seat.

ECW!ECW!ECW! Let me tell you how in awe I still am even a week after the HEATWAVE ppv by ECW. Besides it's HARDCORE style, ECW totally LOVES its fans!!! After the show ended and we were long since off the air. The ECW wrestlers,announcers,Sunny and Francine (WOW!) and owner Paul E. came out and spent a good 20 minutes with the crowd! Would you get that at WCW or WWF? HELL NO YOU WOULDN'T!!! ECW won over Hollywood Mike and DDT that night, and should they get a TV deal, they may be the federation in the lead.
