Bio--
June 1989: Steve Williams starts his training. His trainer is Gentleman Chris Adams. Steve's training lasts six months.
Nov. 1989: Steve makes his pro debut in Texas. He takes the ring name of "Steve Austin" to avoid confusion with "Dr. Death" Steve Williams.
1990-91:Austin has a bitter feud with Adams. The feud also involves Adams ex-wife, Jeannie Adams and Adams current wife, Toni. Jeannie sides with Steve in the feud.
May 31, 1991:"Stunning" Steve Austin debuts in WCW and beats Sam Houston in his first match there. Jeanie Adams becomes lady Blossom and is Steve's valet.
June 3, 1991:Austin beats Bobby Eaton for the WCW TV title.
Summer 1991:Steve joins Paul E. Dangerously's Dangerous Alliance.
Nov. 1991: Steve has his first grudge matches against Brian Pillman.
May 23, 1992:Austin defeats Barry Windham for his second TV title.
1993: Austin and Pillman form the Hollywood Blonds and soon win the WCW U.S. Tag belts from Rick Steamboat and Shane Douglas.
Dec. 27,1993Beat Dustin Rhodes for the WCW U.S. Title.
Sept. 18, 1994Was awarded the U.S. title when Ricky Steamboat had to forfeit it because of a back injury. He then lost the belt to Jim Duggan on that same card.
1995Left WCW and went to ECW as "Superstar" Steve Austin.
Late 1995Left ECW after a very short time and went to the WWF where he took the name "Ringmaster". He was managed by Ted DiBiase and proclaimed the "Million Dollar Champion" after being given DiBiase's old Million Dollar belt.
Early 1996Became "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.
Mid 1996Won the 1996 King of the Ring Tournament. Coined the phrase "Austin 3:16" after defeating Jake Roberts in the finals of the tourney. Became the "meanest SOB in the WWF".
Late 1996Started feud with Bret Hart. Was involved in infamous gun toting skit with Brian Pillman. Supposedly, re-broke Pillman's ankle.
Spring 1997Lost to Bret at Wrestlemania when the ref stopped the match because Austin passed out from the pain of Bret's sharpshooter. He did not give up.
May, 1997Along with Shawn Michaels, won the WWF Tag titles
Summer, 1997Shawn was stripped of his half of the tag belts due to injury. Austin and Dude Love win belts later.
Aug. 3, 1997Wins IC belt from Owen hart at Summerslam. However, he suffers a career threatening neck injury during that match.
Sept. 7, 1997He and Dude gives up Tag belts. Causes Owen Hart to lose a four way match for the vacated titles.
Oct. 1997gives up IC belt without a defense due to his injury. Causes Owen Hart to WIN IC belt.
Nov.9, 1997Wins IC belt from Owen at Survivor Series
March, 1998Wins WWF title from Shwan Michaels at Wrestlemania
Spring, Summer, 1998Becomes embroiled in feud with Vince McMahon during which time he faces Mankind, Undertaker and Kane several times, once losing the WWF title to Kane and then winning it back again the next night on RAW
Sept. 27, 1998Loses the WWF Title in a controversial manner when , during a handicap triple threat match against the Undertaker and Kane, he is pinned by both men. The title is then held up.
